Cargo pants were worn in 1938 British military uniforms. Then made way to the US military uniform in the 1940s. These pants are meant for the outdoors and the pockets help hold various objects. Today, tt has transcended into streetwear and skate-wear. Last year, camouflage pants were all the rage in fashion for a moment in time.  Cargo pants are a recurring trend that makes it appearance and then leaves.

Cargo pants can be tricky to style. It can be difficult to pull off for various occasions. So, how do I wear these unique pair of pants?

Cargo pants are great for people who like the utilitarian look. Someone who prefers clothes on the casual side, but also practical. And you want to wear something different besides jeans and dress pants. These pants can suit any body shape it’s all about the styling.

STYLING 

Go for a more fitted pair of cargo pants to give a more tailored look. Dress up the pants with a blazer and nice watch and dress shirt. And add a belt to complete the dressy look. perfect for a more casual job interview outfit. Khaki cargos will emphasize certain parts of your body while darker colors like olive, navy blue, or black will create a slimming effect. The pockets on the side of the pants will give the illusion of wider thighs, great for people with thin legs. Pin rolling the hem the pants can elevate an outfit. You can opt for slim-fitting pants that have pockets that are less protruding if you do not want to make your thighs look wider.

For the summer season, try cargo shorts. It creates a casual look perfect for the man on the go. Pair the shorts with sneakers and a T-shirt for the perfect lunch date outfit. Stick to neutral colors picking cargos such as khaki, black, olive, and navy blue to get the ultimate versatility. Go to a tailor to hem the pants if they are too long.
